Edit

The first update of WorldView has been released already more than a week ago and we did not update this website. Sad, isn't it. So, here we go, finally!

WorldView 1.1.0 introduced the new random feature as mentioned in our earlier blog post. It also includes lots of bug fixes and performance enhancements but sadly introduced a new bug. When sorting bookmarks, the items will jump up and down, this is quite annoying when using this feature. Well, that was the bad news, the good news is: I do have a bug fix ready! BUT I did not release it yet.... Why? Well, because I have another feature in store that I want to include into the update: Backup & Restore!

This will help you save your bookmarks if you need to reinstall your device, or if the update process of iTunes for some reason deletes all your bookmarks. It will also allow you to import your bookmarks into the upcoming Live edition. Yes, that edition is ready and will be submitted again to Apple together with the next version of the free edition. Again? Oh yes, I forgot, we already submitted it to Apple, but our dear friends found a bug which we oversaw, and yes, that one is also fixed ;-)

Additionally we hopefully will be able to add more languages into the next release too.

NOTE: As we see in the iTunes feedback, that some people don't like the icon or splash screen. Well, luckily not everyone has the same taste ;-) But we also see notes e.g. that WorldView doesn't work at all in firmware 2.2 or does whatever else wrong. Well, all we can say is, it works here and for all of our beta users. So if you have an issue, PLEASE get in touch with us so we can dig the problem and solve it. I cannot contact you via iTunes feedback, and honestly this way of bad feedback isn't really fair! So PLEASE, if you have questions, problems, issues, whatever: get in touch with us!

Thank you!
